Minecraft mania is sweeping the nation!

So I’ve really been digging Windows 7, but my Presonus Firestudio Project had been giving me all kinds of grief. I’ve generally allways had to do a lot of tweaking with my specialty audio hardware to get it to run acceptably, especially my old Firepod, but this was really driving me crazy. Presonus now has the “Universal Control” app that drives their Firestudio hardware, and it installed fine under Windows 7, but every time I tried to connect the Firestudio it would totally freeze up. Open source software is really coming along these days, and it’s awesome when it gets good enough to become my default app for a common task like mp3 playing. I’ve been a loyal winamp user since 1998 and I never thought I would make the switch, but just recently I’ve been trying Songbird and so far I’m impressed. This sucker can index a HUGE mp3 collection in record time, and it has an adequate collection of plug-ins.
