Selling guitar and bass collection

I’m helping a family friend sell a collection of guitars who’s owner has passed on.  I’ll be putting them up on craigslist or ebay soon. Some of them need a little cleaning up and setup first.

Presonus Firewire on Windows 7

So I’ve really been digging Windows 7, but my Presonus Firestudio Project had been giving me all kinds of grief. I’ve generally allways had to do a lot of tweaking with my specialty audio hardware to get it to run acceptably, especially my old Firepod, but this was really driving me crazy. Presonus now has the “Universal Control” app that drives their Firestudio hardware, and it installed fine under Windows 7, but every time I tried to connect the Firestudio it would totally freeze up. Retube a guitar amp in Chicago

It is a little more difficult than I thought to find a place to change and bias the tubes in my guitar amp. I’m in Chicago so I figured a quick search of “tube amp repair chicago” would have more recognizable results. Chicago Guitar and Amplifier looks like it’s about my speed but their website says that amp repair has a 1-3 week waiting period. Shuh! I need to rock out now! Anybody have any recommendations? My buddy Ernie recommended Deltronics which looks cool, but it’s only open weekdays 10am …
